The Roots Picnic Will Happen In NYC – And Wu Tang, D'Angelo Are In It!

Philly’s hip hop band will take it Roots Picnic to Bryant Park in NYC this October.
Tickets are on presale now and go on public sale Friday, June 10 at 10am for this two day event, which features The Roots, John Mayer and D’Angelo on Friday, October 1 and a Wu Tang reunion performance backed up by The Roots along with disco and new wave legends Nile Rodgers and David Byrne on Saturday, October 2. The Roots Picnic, which just completed this past May, has thrilled fans in Philly for years. This New York City event will take place in cozy Bryant Park, which is located a few blocks from Times Square.
