Philadelphia Eagles Will Face The New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII

Eagles Metlife end zone shot

January 21, 2018

The underdog Philadelphia Eagles have fought their way to Super Bowl LII, defeating the favored Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game by the score of 38-7.

Lead by backup quarterback Nick Foles and an advantageous defense, the Eagles return to the Super Bowl after a 14 year absence. Despite injuries to key players including superstar QB Carson Wentz, Philly has persevered, beating the Atlanta Falcons on January 13 and now the Vikings for the NFC Championship. The Eagles will now face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots – the team it faced in 2004 in the Super Bowl – on February 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Though prices were expected to hit record levels if the Minnesota Vikings advanced to the game, which is taking place at its home stadium, tickets still could easily exceed $1,500-$2,500 per seat. Justin Timberlake will perform during halftime.
