Draymond Green having a dust-up with Lebron James in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Cavaliers ending the curse with a Finals victory in Game 7.

Especially with the NBA Draft over, we know many basketball fans certainly miss the games. But there are some summer hoops happening in the area you might enjoy. Check out our picks:

June 11-August 7, 2016: The Holcombe Rucker Community League Summer Tournament at various New York City locations | Free
Strictly for hoops junkies, wannabe high school or college hoops scouts and New York City culture enthusiasts, the legendary Rucker League no longer has Dr. J. playing on a blacktop for free. However, the atmosphere is still fun and you might see a middle school kid or teenager that one day makes his name during March Madness or the NBA one day, then you can say you saw him first.

Wednesday, July 13 at 11am: New York Liberty vs. Atlanta Storm at Madison Square Garden, New York, N.Y. | Buy Tickets
The WNBA’s 20th anniversary season is in full swing already. Before the Rio Olympics pauses the Liberty’s season, you can take the work day off and check out the star Tina Charles lead the charge against the Storm. These day games are popular camp days for the little ones so join the fun!

Thursday, July 21 at 8pm: Roc Nation Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. | Buy Tickets
An annual event now in Brooklyn, sports stars like Robinson Cano, Miguel Cotto, C.C. Sabathia and Nick Jonas will lead celebrity hoopsters in a basketball tournament full of star-gazing, Instragram posting and people watching. Roc Nation will soon announce the slate of athletes, hip hop stars and Hollywood and reality show celebrities on the rosters. Click here to stay posted.

Sunday, July 31 at 1:30pm: USA Women’s National Team Basketball Showcase: USA vs. Australia and Canada vs. France at Madison Square Garden, New York, N.Y. | Buy Tickets
The women’s team is more dominant than the men in international competition with a star-studded roster including Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Tamika Catchings and Delaware native Elena Delle Donne.Before the team leaves for Rio, you can check out the Women’s National Team against Australia in The Garden and even get in early to take in the double-header. Family alert: there are even four packs in the $12-$50 range.
