John Leguizamo’s New Show “Latin History For Morons” Goes On Sale Soon

November 30, 2016

John Leguizamo will star in his new one-man show Latin History For Morons at the Public Theater starting in February 2017.

Tickets go on public sale on January 10, 2017 for this engagement which runs from Friday, February 24 through Sunday, April 9. Leguizamo, the Queens native and creator of critically acclaimed one-man shows like Mambo Mouth, Spic-O-Rama and more recently Ghetto Klown, now has written a show that takes a comedic look at the Latino community’s contribution to American history

The Public Theater also first housed Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton and the recent Broadway show Eclipsed. Members of the theater get special access to buy tickets this month before the January public on-sale. Also, lucky fans attending his March 21 show at Stress Factory in New Brunswick, N.J. got a taste of the show as Leguizamo tests the material. The show’s first working title was “Latin History For Dummies.”

Leguizamo’s last one-man show, Ghetto Klown, toured the U.S. and was broadcast on HBO. If you are looking for tickets to this limited engagement, click here. We can help.
