Drake Postpones His Brooklyn, Philly and Newark Concerts

October 11, 2016

Due to an injury, Drake and Future’s Summer Sixteen Tour stops at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and Prudential Center in Newark have been postponed.

Though Drake reportedly wanted to work through it, his doctor said he should postpone these last three concerts. Re-scheduled dates have not been set, but refunds would be available at your point of purchase.

The following is the statement provided at each arena web site affected:

“Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse. Under doctors’ orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his Summer Sixteen tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake’s fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can’t wait to get back on stage.”

Though neither Drake or Future have taken to social media to apologize or update fans, Drake did post info on his upcoming “The Boy Meets World” European tour in 2017.

Tickets Available October 14 @ticketmaster.
