When it comes to summer in the Garden State, New Jersey and you are perfect together!

Best known for the sun and fun of the Jersey shore, the state offers tons of outdoor concerts to enjoy all over the state. Check out Dahday’s picks for great music in New Jersey this summer:

Sunday, July 3 at 7pm: Zion Y Lennox at Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, N.J. | Buy Tickets

Thrilling roller coaster rides and hot reggaeton duo Zion Y Lennox with the price of park admission. Great combination! If you are looking for something to do July 4th weekend, heading down to Great Adventure this day might do the trick.

If you are down the shore full-time this August, The High Road Tour should be a dope show. Hip hop fans get a hit of the legendary Snoop, hit-makers like Khalifa and Aiko and new dope lyricist Gates all in one night. This tour visits BB&T Pavilion in Camden on August 5 as well.

Thursday, August 25 at 6pm: Bilal at NJPAC, Newark, N.J. | Free

Philly’s Bilal will bless the crowd with his eclectic soulful style in NJPAC’s annual Sounds of the City series. The stage is set up in front of the venue, with food trucks and beverage concessions circling the open square. Fans bring a blanket early to rest on the lawn in front of the stage just stand near the stage and enjoy the music. This is a cool place to spend a Thursday night.

Friday, August 26 at 7pm: Prophets of Rage Make America Rage Again Tour at PNC Arts Center, Holmdel, N.J. | Buy Tickets

In light of the presidential elections ramping up this summer, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D from Public Enemy and B. Real from Cypress Hill have formed a super-group and hit the PNC Arts stage on August 26. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime, mosh-pit-inspired, bring-the-noise show. Prophets of Rage also visits BB&T Pavilion on August 20.

Lots of the student may head back to school by this date, but summer is still technically in session. For a lesson on how to perform live, fans check out Beyoncé rock a football stadium.
